9" x 5 1/2" Gothic Wood Cast iron Church or Castle Rim Lock with Key and Keep

A fantastic opportunity to own a stunning antique wood and iron rim lock with brass keyhole. It comes complete with  original working key and hand crafted replacement keep made from reclaimed iron and wood, giving it that high quality original look.

The lock has been professionally restored to a very high standard and is in full working order, although there is a 'knack' to locking and unlocking as the original key drops a little when inserted, but once the action is learnt it becomes part of its inherent charm. The key works the deadlock from both side.

All the wooden & iron parts have been given a subtle satin finish.
