Rare Antique Rococo Micro-Beaded Glass Bell / Drapery Pull / Rope + Opaque handle

A very rare opportunity indeed to own a fabulously unique bell / drapery pull. This exquisite piece of Rococo history has a rope made from thick thread which has been decorated with hand stitched glass micro-beads - in colours opaque, clear, orange and black. The handle is crafted from solid opaque glass with a Rococo styled gold gilded fixing collar and loop. 

Measures:

• overall 206cm (81") long
• rope 192cm (75 1/2") long & 4cm (1 1/2") wide
• pull 14cm (5 1/2") long & 4.5cm (1 3/4") wide
• weighs just over 900g

In original antique condition and may benefit from a clean. The beads are all in very good condition, but there are just a couple missing. The handle is also in very good condition, without chips but there is a small hairline to the top underside (see photo) this is stable and won't travel at all.

A wonderfully decorative and highly unusual item.
