1906 Restored Wooden High Level Toilet Cistern - "Mignon No 8" - Alporte

A high level antique wooden toilet cistern manufactured by Mignon circa 1906.

It has a beautifully crafted quality wooden box with makers stamp to both faces making it fully reversible.

Professionally refurbished inside and out to a very high standard and in excellent working order. The wood has been given a satin waxed finish to the outside, The internal mechanism has been given a complete service to ensure efficient flushing and filling. 

This cistern is probably one of the earliest dual flush cisterns that you'll ever come across, ideal for those on a water meter or the environmentally aware. Pull and let go for a short flush, pull and hold down to completely empty.

• 50.5cm (19 3/4") wide along bottom
• 25cm (9 3/4") deep

• 37cm (14 1/2") high (incl handle)

Will require a 1 1/4" sized flush pipe (pipe that joins the toilet & cistern).

The original overflow and valve holes have been blocked off. Condition: Fully restored in 100% working order and flushes effortlessly.
