A very rare opportunity to acquire a fabulous Edward Johns Armitage toilet set, blue line hand painted by J. Windley.
Beautiful dolphin design toilet with shell shape scalloped cistern, wooden seat, brass pipe, cistern wall brackets and seat brackets .
Toilet measures 40cm (15 3/4") wide, 56cm (22") deep and 40cm (15 3/4") high. It's in excellent condition, without damage or restoration.
Cistern measures 54cm (21 1/4") wide and 205cm (80 3/4") high when connected to the toilet via the brass flush pipe. There is a hairline crack to the lid which has been consolidated and is not visible once insitu.
The wooden toilet seat measures 42cm (16 1/2") wide and 70cm (37 1/2") deep. It's in excellent condition.
The brackets have been stripped to their original metal base. The brass downpipe has some minor fractures which have been resin sealed from the inside and have been tested for water tightness.
