Antique Advertising High Level Toilet Cistern Chain Pull - John Barclay - Buckie Scotland

A Victorian advertising ceramic toilet / light pull with solid brass fittings. Crafted in the late 19th century with the words "PULL. John Barclay Plumber. Buckie" with an intricate swirl pattern under the glaze.

Pull measures 12.5cm (5") long including brass fixings but not loop

In good condition but there are some areas of rubbing and some sympathetic (visible) restoration areas to the bottom rims. A hairline crack runs around the mid top but is stable and suitable for everyday use as it's fixed by a steel rod through the middle.

An authentic looking piece of useable history.
