A high level antique wooden "Emco" toilet cistern manufactured by W. Emery & Co Ltd, Sheffield (brass foundry) circa 1880s. This is one of the more unusually designed examples and features a lovely brass mechanism that just peeps over the top and a copper lining.

It has a beautifully crafted quality wooden box with dovetail joints to the sides and front with the makers name to both sides. All original parts are stamped with the manufacturers name and it's fully reversible.

Professionally refurbished inside and out to a very high standard and in excellent working order. The wood has been given a satin finish.

The inside mechanism has been given a complete service to ensure efficient, quiet flushing and filling.

  • 52cm (20 1/2") wide not incl handle
  • 57cm (22 1/2") wide incl handle
  • 26.5cm (10 1/2") deep
  • 24.5cm (9 3/4") high not incl handle
  • 34.5cm (13 1/2") high incl handle

Will require a 1 1/4" sized flush pipe (pipe that joins the toilet & cistern). 

In excellent restored condition, full 100% working order and flushes effortlessly.
