Restored Cast Iron & Brass Working Water Hand Pump with Tap

A stunning antique cast iron, brass, copper and lead hand pump professionally restored and in full working order. It was salvaged from the kitchen of a Victorian property.

The many layers of paint have been stripped back to reveal the beautiful craftsmanship in the original casting. All parts are original, but we suspect the tap is a later Art Deco addition. The swan handle moves smoothly and effortlessly and the tap if fully functional switching both "on & off", it also can be rotated 90 degrees

Mounted on a substantial piece of oak which is original to the pump. Beautifully weathered and given an oiled finish and lead dressing to the top to protect it from the elements.

This is a very substantial pump and will require hand delivery, or collection. We may be able to arrange this for you at a minimum cost of £40 depending on your location.

Suitable for inside or outside display. Very easy to convert into a garden fountain, or to use with your well.
