Antique Ornate Brass Mechanical Door Bell Pull - Lozenge 1844

An excellent quality antique spring loaded brass bell pull. For use with a mechanical pulley system where the bell does not have to be sprung as the pull is. 

Has a lozenge stamp to the back which dates it to April 1844.

Measures:  

• 16cm (6 1/4") high
• 5.5cm (5 1/4") at widest
• weighs 334g

In excellent antique condition, without damage with a replacement spring. Has been lightly cleaned and is unlacquered so will tarnish over time if not cleaned.
