1906 Restored Wooden High Level Toilet Cistern " The Japkap" - Dual Flush
A beautifully restored high level antique wooden toilet cistern manufactured by Japkap circa 1906.
It has a beautifully crafted quality wooden box with makers name on one side only so it is not reversible. All original parts are stamped with the manufacturers name and reg no/patent no's.
Professionally refurbished inside and out to a very high standard and in excellent working order. The wood has been given a semi-gloss waxed finish and the mechanism a complete service ensuring efficient, quiet flushing and filling. You will require a ballcock or silent fill.
This cistern is probably one of the earliest dual flush cisterns that you'll ever come across, ideal for those on a water meter or the environmentally aware. Pull and let go for a short flush, pull and hold down to completely empty.
