7" x 4 1/2" Victorian Cast Iron & Brass Door Rim Lock, Key & Fancy Keep - Brass Badge

A large high quality antique cast iron rim lock with unusual brass detailed keep and patent brass badge. It comes complete with restored original working (works from both sides) and a handcrafted original keep with stunning brass detailing.

The lock has been professionally restored to a very high standard and is in full working order. It's has been given a satin lacquered finish.

Will fit a right hung door. 

Measurements:

• Lock: 18cm (7") wide, 12cm (4 1/4") high and 2.5cm (1") thick
• Keep: 3cm (1 1/2") wide, 12cm (4 3/4") high and 2.5cm (1") thick
• Key: 11.5cm (4 1/2") long
• The center of the keyhole is 7cm from the edge of the deadlock side

An impressive piece weighing just over 1kg.
