10" x 6 1/4" Victorian Cast Iron Door Rim Lock, Key & Keep

A huge antique cast iron rim lock. It comes complete with working key (works from both sides) and a handcrafted replacement keep.

Has a night / privacy lock controlled by a brass bottom thumb latch.

The lock has been professionally restored to a very high standard and is in full working order. It's has been given a satin lacquered finish.

Will fit a right hung door. 

Measurements:

• Lock: 25.5cm (10") wide, 15.5cm (6 1/4") high and 4cm (1.5") thick
• Keep: 3cm (1 1/4") wide, 15.5cm (6") high and 3cm (1 1/4") thick
• Key: 13.5cm (5 1/2") long
• The center of the keyhole is 14cm (5 1/2") from the edge of the deadlock side

An impressive piece weighing just over 3.5kg.
