8" x 5" Gothic Cast Iron Door Rim Deadlock, Key & Keep - Cardiff made

A huge antique cast iron rim deadlock. It comes complete with working key (works from both sides) and replacement keep.

Brass makers plate reads "Cross Bros Ltd, Ironmongers, Cardiff.

The lock has been professionally restored to a very high standard and is in full working order. It's has been given a satin lacquered finish. Will fit a right hung door.

Measurements:

• Lock: 20.5cm (8") wide, 13cm (5 1/4") high and 2.5cm (1") thick
• Keep: 3.25cm (1 1/4") wide, 11.5cm (4 1/2") high and 2.5cm (1") thick
• Key: 12.2cm (4 3/4") long
• The center of the keyhole is 9.5cm (3 1/2") from the edge of the deadlock side

An impressive piece weighing just over 1.5kg.
