Antique Victorian 14 Room Butler's / Servant's Indicator Signal Box

An elegant 14 room butlers indicator box. 

Professionally restored and fully tested, in 100% working order. The original makers plaque which reads "The Property of THE BOURNEMOUTH AND POOLE ELECTRICITY SUPPLY Co Ltd" is included and can be reattached if required.

When a button in a room is pressed the corresponding flag twinkles from side to side to alert the staff which room requires assistance. You can wire it up to use as a front and back door bell indicator.

The hardwood case is beautifully crafted with box joints, brass screws and hinges. The gold writing is in good condition but on close inspection it does appear to have been altered at some time with horizontal lines bordering it. The rooms consist of FRONT ENT. LOUNGES - FRONT, BACK. TRADESMEN. and 11 BEDROOMS.

The ordinal red striped and star flags are all intact, but they do have old stains on them. The black paint is in very good condition, but there are grey lined areas where the writing has been sign written (see photo where I've used the light to highlight these), but once in situ shouldn't be detrimental to it's display.
