Solid Brass and Wood Antique Toilet Roll / Paper Holder - Australian Coat of Arms

A high quality solid brass antique toilet roll holder featuring one of the earliest versions of the Australian coat of arms circa 1908.

The Australian Coat of Arms is the property of the Commonwealth of Australia and is used by the Commonwealth to authenticate documents, to indicate ownership of property, and for other purposes of identification. Why it is  on a toilet roll holder I do not know?!

Unusually the Kangaroo is on the right, current coat of arms has it on the left. The sun at the top is a depiction of the Australian Imperial Force, with the stars in the middle forming a cross. 

Measures

The brass has been given a light polish, but is not lacquered and so will tarnish over time.
