9" x 6" Victorian Cast Iron & Brass Door Rim Lock, Key & Fancy Keep - Carpenter

A huge antique cast iron rim lock with unusual brass detailed carpenter keep. It comes complete with original key (works from both sides) and a handcrafted original keep with stunning brass detailing.

The lock has been professionally restored to a very high standard and is in full working order. It's has been given a satin lacquered finish.

Will fit a left hung door. 

Measurements:

• Lock: 23cm (9) wide, 15cm (6") high and 2.5cm (1") thick
• Keep: 3.25cm (1") wide, 15cm (6") high and 3.3cm (1 1/4") thick
• Key: 11.5cm (4 1/2") long
• The center of the keyhole is 10cm (4") from the edge of the deadlock side

An impressive piece weighing just over 2.3kg.
