A high quality original Victorian throne toilet seat, hand made from very thick mahogany with an amazing grain. As with all high spec seats the lid is crafted from just one piece of wood. The seat and back piece do have quite significant colour differences, but this just adds to its unique charming character.
This is the type of seat that can be used with floor or wall brackets, or a floating shelf.
It has been professionally restored to the very highest of standards. All the hinges are solid brass and the wood has a satin oiled finish which brings out the beautiful natural depth of the wood.

- back width 50cm (19 3/4")
- seat depth (inc back) 59cm (23 1/4")
- back fitting alone 16cm (6 1/4") deep
- seat alone 43cm (17") deep
- upstand 11.3cm high
- lid 1.5cm, seat 2.6cm thick
Please note that the space between the pan hole and back of the seat may have been historically reduced. It measures 5.5cm deep, so please check that this will suit your toilet configuration.
In excellent restored condition. There are two historical splits on the seat which have been consolidated and will not travel. The lid is slightly twisted, but this won't affect its everyday use.
Rubber bungs will be supplied for you to fit to the underside specific to your toilet. A fantastic quality seat that will add a touch of class to your smallest room in an instant.
