Antique Victorian 5 Room Butler's / Servant's Indicator Signal Box - Liscard Wirral

An elegant 6 room butlers indicator box. Professionally restored and fully tested, in 100% working order.

When a button in a room is pressed the corresponding flag twinkles from side to side to alert the staff which room requires assistance. Ideal to wire up to use with your front and back door bells.

The hardwood case is beautifully crafted with box joints and recessed detailing to front frame. The gold writing appears to be original and is in good condition but on close inspection the "G" on drawing room is worn. The rooms consist of FRONT DOOR., DRAWING Rm., DINING Rm., BEDROOM, BATHROOM And the makers name "H Shinn. 229 Sea View Rd. Tel.1139 Liscard"

The red striped flags are hand crafted replacements. The black paint is in good condition with minimal aging, but there is some white blooming - looks worse in the photos and will not be so noticeable once in situ.
