An antique earthenware high level 'The Irwell' toilet The makers stamp to the inner bowl reads "G & D Ltd., M, The Irwell, Leadless Glaze". Circa 1895.
The colour variations are typical of this type of character and somewhat add to it's farmhouse cottage feel.
- 40cm (15 3/4") high
- 49cm (19 1/4") deep (to back of water inlet pipe)
- 58cm (22 3/4") deep (to back of soil pipe)
- 37cm (14 1/4") wide
The toilet is in very good condition, there is some staining and light scratches to the inner bowl, a scuff to the top edge, a repair to the front edge and some slight damage to the rear of the base. Non of these are significant.
