Antique Butlers or Servants Bell Box ~ 4 Point Indicator - Hayter Swanage

A lovely antique 4 indicator butlers bell box. Fully restored with a light wax finish and fully tested, in 100% working order. Ideal for coupling up with a bell to your front and back doors.

When a button in a room is pressed the corresponding red starred flag twinkles from side to side to alert the staff which room requires assistance. All flags are present but quite light faded.

The hardwood case is beautifully crafted with box joints, steel screws and hinges and replacement brass fastening hook. The writing is in excellent condition with no wear. 

Indicators read - FRONT Dr. BACK Dr. Gold lettering is in excellent condition, the gold windows have very slight wear. The black backing paint is all intact, in good condition but has got extensive white blooming, visible only with reflective light.
